The end is near. The end of the 2005 holiday shopping season, that is. If you're still undecided about that last-minute gift, there's one item that every race fan has to replace each and every year: a calendar.

As they've done for the past several years, the folks at Time Factory have provided race fans with an awesome selection of NASCAR calendars. Here's a sampling:

• 12" x 12" Driver Calendars: This series represents the flagship of Time Factory's cavalcade of calendars. Most of the Nextel Cup Series' top drivers are represented, with eyecatching images displayed throughout the 12-month calendar.

• 16" x 11" Calendars: If bigger is better, this is the lineup for you. This ensemble not only features calendars dedicated to individual drivers, but also a "Stars of NASCAR" edition showcasing many of the sport's top names on one calendar. Another issue is devoted to racing at NASCAR's premier facility, Daytona International Speedway.

• NASCAR Pets Calendar: This is by far the most unique racing-themed calendar ever released. It features the following drivers, their families, and pets: Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman, Jason Leffler, Casey Mears, Jeff Green, Kerry Earnhardt, Elliott Sadler and Tony Stewart. Time Factory will donate 15 percent of the calendar proceeds to benefit the Greg Biffle Foundation, which creates awareness and serves as advocates to improve the well-being of animals.

• Daily Desktop Calendar and Die-cast Car: The perfect complement for any desk, this 12-month day-by-day calendar has plenty of room for notes and what-have-you. It is accompanied by a 1:64 scale die-cast replica of the featured driver's car, further enhancing its racing theme.
