HAMPTON, Ga. -- Atlanta Motor Speedway is rightfully known as the Nextel Cup Series' fastest speedway for unrestricted engines, despite the fact that it's only 1.54 miles in length.

Last year's event winners, defending Golden Corral 500 winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. and last fall's champion Jimmie Johnson, along with four-time defending Bud Pole winner Ryan Newman, are the most likely to add to Atlanta's statistical legacy.

The following numbers refer to Atlanta Motor Speedway unless otherwise noted.
