AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Phoenix International Raceway's growth curve continues in 2005 with a couple of landmark events: The venue's first set of night-time NASCAR races and its first two-event Nextel Cup Series schedule.

Phoenix's most recent winner, Dale Earnhardt Jr. joins red-hot defending Bud Pole Award winner Ryan Newman as the drivers most apt to continue Phoenix's statistical legacy.

The following numbers refer to Phoenix International Raceway and the Subway Fresh 500, unless otherwise noted.

  • 1 -- The number of the six drivers who have started all 17 races who are winless, namely Ken Schrader.
