DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Darlington Raceway, NASCAR's oldest superspeedway, has earned its reputation as the track "Too Tough To Tame," even though a number of drivers have held their own against the egg-shaped 1.366-mile oval. Jimmie Johnson, who swept both Darlington races a year ago in the track's last year of two events, and spring race Bud Pole winner Kasey Kahne are in position to expand the track's statistical legacy. The following numbers refer to Darlington Raceway and the Dodge Charger 500, unless otherwise noted. | | | Dale and Ned Jarrett |
