CONCORD, N.C. -- Lowe's Motor Speedway has been the site of NASCAR's longest race, the Coca-Cola 600, since 1960. But despite that lengthy history, the track surface's recent grinding job gives Sunday night's 46th annual event a new look and a different feel. Defending Coke 600 winner Jimmie Johnson -- who swept both points races at Lowe's last season along with the 600's Bud Pole -- and fall pole winner Ryan Newman are in good position to expand the track's statistical legacy. | | | Jimmie Johnson |
