NASCAR fans, the green flag has dropped on the "Sunoco 5000" a summer-long promotion where Sunoco customers like you can win great prizes just by placing a replica Sunoco Official Contingency decal on your car and frequenting your local Sunoco stations. If you are spotted at or near a Sunoco with the decal on your car, you win one of 5,000 prizes! HOW THE PROMOTION WORKS: Throughout May, June, July and August, when you visit a Sunoco, you will be given a replica NASCAR contingency decal. No purchase required. Decals are also available by ordering on line at www.Sunoco5000.com. Simple to play -- 1, 2, 3 - You can pick up a replica Sunoco Contingency Decal at any participating Sunoco.
- Place the decal on your car and visit Sunoco locations often to have your decal spotted by a Designated Spotter to be eligible to instantly win one of 5,000 great prizes.
- If spotted by a designated spotter -- you will be awarded a Scratch & Win Card -- EVERY CARD IS A WINNER! The scratch cards will tell you which of the below prizes you have won and how to redeem the scratch card to get your prize.
Mail your card to a fulfillment center to validate and receive your prize. Cards are automatically entered into the Sunoco 5000 Grand Prize Drawing! Once a winner sends in a scratch card to redeem a prize, the winner will automatically be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize. There are two Grand Prize drawings, depending on when a winner sent in a scratch card: -- For scratch cards awarded in May and June and sent in for prize redemption by 7/8/05, winners are entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize trip for 4 to Richard Petty Driving Experience where they'll receive racing tips from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and other NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers. -- For scratch cards awarded in May - August and sent in for prize redemption by 9/8/05, winners are entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize choice of a 2005 Ford F-150 Truck or Ford Explorer.
