LOUDON, N.H. -- Rusty Wallace ended up sixth, but he lost a shot at the win when he ended up outside of his pit box during a stop on Lap 137.

Overshooting the line means a one-lap penalty, and Wallace was clearly frustrated that he was docked.

"We brought it home in sixth place, but we thought we had a better car than that," said Wallace. "I just got behind early and that was about it. We had a lot of challenges [Sunday]."

Kenseth fights back from unusual mishap

Matt Kenseth's pit crew got him off pit road quickly all day long, but a jammed lug nut on Lap 104 nearly cost him a lap.

Kenseth was able to get back to pit road for repairs, and he got back in sequence when the caution flew again within 30 laps.

"I don't know, we got a lugnut jammed there for some reason and it did good coming back," said Kenseth. "Came back from that problem and didn't really tear anything up and were able to work our way back through there through pit strategy and having a good car."

Jammed lug nut costs Gordon

Jeff Gordon's luck in the second half has been abysmal, and Sunday was no different.

Gordon lost major track position when a jammed lug nut sent him to 14th place on Lap 103, and Gordon was forced to play catch-up the rest of the day.

Quotable

"I thought we might have had a chance at the win there late, but I ran out of gas on pit road and that killed our chances."
-- Kevin Harvick, who got his second consecutive 10th-place finish
