Defending Busch Series champion Martin Truex Jr. won the first points-paying Busch Series race in Mexico City, taking Sunday's checkered flag in the Telcel Motorola 200 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

Kevin Harvick was second. NBS rookie Carl Edwards, who crashed his primary car and blew the engine in his backup during Friday's practice sessions, finished third.

The win is the seventh of Truex's Busch Series career.
