Fike's crew chief fined for Fontana infraction

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR announced Wednesday that Teddy Brown, crew chief for the No. 43 Dodge driven by Aaron Fike in the Busch Series, has been fined $500 for an infraction during last weekend's event at California Speedway.

Brown was fined for an unapproved upper A-frame that was too thin, a violation of Section 12-4-A (Actions detrimental to stock car racing) and Section 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used in the event do not conform to NASCAR rules) of the NASCAR Busch Series rulebook.
