Stewart takes Bud Pole at New Hampshire

Tony Stewart will go for a season sweep Sunday at New Hampshire from the Bud Pole. Stewart earned his second top starting spot of the season Saturday for Sunday's Sylvania 300.

Stewart toured the 1.058-mile oval in 29.043 seconds, an average speed of 131.143 miles per hour.

Jeff Gordon, will new crew chief Steve Letarte on the pit box, qualified second at 29.058/131.076.

Another car with a new crew chief -- kind of -- the No. 8 of Dale Earnhardt Jr., qualified third at 29.124/130.779.
