Jeff Gordon Racing School auction underway

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- If you ever wanted to know what it is like to ride around Lowe's Motor Speedway in an authentic stock car or even meet a four-time NASCAR Champion, here is your chance. The Jeff Gordon Racing School is giving race fans the opportunity to bid on a special eBay auction in celebration of its upcoming Grand Opening at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. All proceeds from this one-time auction will benefit The Jeff Gordon Foundation.

Since 1999, The Jeff Gordon Foundation has provided continuous support for children and their families through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society®, The Make-A-Wish Foundation®, The Marrow Foundation® (which includes the Hendrick Marrow Program), Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana and Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital at NorthEast Medical Center. The Foundation is dedicated to help support the physical, social and intellectual needs of children and their families throughout the United States.

The Jeff Gordon Racing School initiated the online eBay auction to assist Jeff with his efforts in making a difference in the lives of children and their families. Items up for bid include driving eight (8) laps in an authentic Nextel Cup race car, riding three (3) laps in a authentic Nextel Cup race car, or hanging out with Jeff and his friends at the Jeff Gordon Racing School Grand Opening and Celebrity Challenge.
