DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A day-long rain washed out Saturday's first day of NASCAR Preseason Thunder testing for the Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona International Speedway.

NASCAR canceled the day's session about noon ET.

Truck teams will return Sunday for a one-day test, which will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.

Nextel Cup Series returns Tuesday for a three-day test.

Losing one day is difficult for many teams, but Roush Racing rookie Todd Kluever takes a philosophical approach.

"I know the guys on the team are really disappointed," Kleuver said. "They wanted to get everything done today and tomorrow and have Monday at the shop.

"I've been waiting my whole life to get here, so I can wait one more day."
