FONTANA, Calif. -- Kerry Earnhardt was uninjured Thursday at California Speedway when he crashed his No. 15 Kraft Foods/Stater Bros. Chevrolet in Turn 2 about halfway through the second practice. Earnhardt, who was 17th in the first practice but only 27th in the second, made no further laps in his Billy Ballew Motorsports truck. "It just got away from me," Earnhardt said. "I don't really know what happened. "Ritchie (Wauters, crew chief) and the guys pulled out the backup truck. We won't really know what we have until we go out tomorrow to qualify." |
