CONCORD, N.C. -- Roush Racing teammates Ricky Craven and Todd Kluever spent Tuesday testing at Martinsville Speedway in preparation for the upcoming Kroger 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on April 9. | | | Ricky Craven |

Kluever was scheduled to test Wednesday as well, but rain forced the team to postpone his second day of testing until Thursday. "I think the day we spent at Martinsville was one of the best days I've had at Roush Racing," said Craven, driver of the No. 99 Ford. "We had a very productive test and worked on a lot of different things. I ran about 400 miles total between two trucks. I think we found a great set-up package for the race that will really make a big difference for us. I'm excited to go back there for the race in a few weeks. "I got my first Cup win at Martinsville in 2001 in a Ford and it would be incredible to go back there and get my first truck win in a Ford as well. I believe we found a package that can get the job done for us." | | | Todd Kluever |

The test was Kluever's first trip to the .526-mile oval, which is why the No. 50 Ford team opted to make it a two-day test. "I spent part of the first day just getting used to the track," Kluever said. "It's a tough place and I can see why people have problems there. "We were about to do a 40-lap run on sticker tires at the end of the day to see how we compared against Ricky, but it started to sprinkle and we didn't want to waste the tires with just a partial run. We'll go back on Thursday and spend some time working on different set-ups and hopefully come away with something good for the race." |
