Hornaday, Craven on front row at Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) -- Ron Hornaday Jr. won the pole position for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series' UAW/GM Ohio 250 on Saturday night, turning a lap at 110.585 mph on the half-mile Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.

Hornaday, a two-time series champion, edged Ricky Craven by 0.014 seconds to earn his 12th career pole and first since 1998.

Points leader Ted Musgrave qualified third, followed by Rick Crawford, Shane Hmiel, Johnny Benson, David Starr, David Reutimann, Robert Huffman and Tracy Hines.

Defending series champion Bobby Hamilton will start 26th on Sunday. He trails Musgrave by 13 points in standings.

Qualifying was delayed more than two hours by rain.
