Here is a lap-by-lap account of Saturday's Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington Raceway: Lap 370: Greg Biffle wins the Dodge Charger 500. Lap 369: Biffle takes lead from Newman. Jeff Gordon takes second. Lap 369: Green flag. Ryan Newman leads. Lap 365: Ryan Newman and Ken Schrader elect to stay out. Carl Edwards leads the race off pit road after a two-tire stop. Biffle also takes two tires and will restart fourth. Jeff Gordon will restart fourth after a four-tire stop. This will be a green-white-checkered finish and a single-file restart. Lap 364: Caution is out after Mark Martin gets loose and spins down the frontstretch. 11th caution of the night. Lap 361: Biffle's car is getting better. He takes second from Jeff Gordon. Lap 343: 24 to go. Newman still leads by over three seconds. Lap 341: Burton makes unscheduled pit stop. His wheel wasn't tightened correctly during the last pit stop. Lap 339: Jeff Burton, who is running sixth, says he has a virbation and may have to pit. Lap 337: Biffle is falling like a rock and is in danger of losing fourth to Mark Martin. Lap 333: Ryan Newman has checked out. He has a lead of almost three seconds. Lap 329: Biffle loses second place to Jeff Gordon, and Kahne gets around Biffle for third. Lap 324: Ryan Newman takes lead from Greg Biffle. Lap 322: Green flag. Greg Biffle leads. Lap 319: All cars on pit road. Biffle retains the lead with a 14.4 second stop. Newman has a good stop (14.4 seconds) and will restart second. Jeff Gordon goes from fifth to third. Kahne loses two spots in the pits after a 15.5 second stop. Kevin Harvick will restart 20th after he had air wrench problems in the pits. Lap 317: Caution is out for debris Lap 317: Jeff Gordon is back in the top five. Lap 310: The top five remains unchanged: Biffle, Newman, Kahne, Martin and Harvick. Lap 295: Biffle already has a 1.5-second lead. He will lead the most laps tonight. Lap 287: Green flag. Greg Biffle leads. Lap 284: All cars on pit road. Biffle gets the lead back with a 15.1 second spot. Ryan Newman to second with a 14.9 second stop. Kahne falls to third after right-front problems led to a 16.5 second stop. Lap 283: Kyle Busch slaps the wall, ruining a top-five finish. The caution flag is out for the 10th time. Lap 280: 20 cars on the lead lap. Lap 259: Jimmie Johnson makes unscheduled pit stop for a vibration and will lose a ton of position. His crew gives him a great piot and he falls only a lap down. Lap 257: Kahne has a one-second lead. Lap 247: Green flag. Kasey Kahne leads. Lap 242: Caution is out for the ninth time. Three-car accident with Travis Kvapil, Dale Jarrett and Scott Riggs. Kvapil hit the wall, collecting Riggs. Brian Vickers is the Lucky Dog. Riggs heads to the garage. The leaders will stay out, but 10 cars will make a pit stop. Lap 239: Green flag. Kasey Kahne leads. Lap 235: Everyone on pit road. All 19 cars on the lead lap will make a stop. Johnson is in and out in 14.2 seconds. Biffle is 15.0 seconds and Kahne wins the battle off pit road with a 13.6 second stop. Lap 232: Blaney has spun entering pit road. Caution is out. Bobby Labonte gets the Lucky Dog. Lap 231: Jeremy Mayfield has pancaked the right side of his car. Dave Blaney also has damage. No caution. Lap 222: Sterling Marlin to the garage with engine problems. Lap 212: Green flag.
