Lap 160: Stewart wins the Allstate 400. It is his fourth win in the last six races. Stewart led the most laps (44) and takes the points lead for the first time all season. Lap 159: One to go Lap 157: Stewart has a half-second lead. Lap 150: Elliott Sadler has a flat. He is losing positions left and right. Lap 149: Stewart takes lead from Kahne. Lap 149: Green flag. Kahne leads. Lap 147: Kasey Kahne stays out, Tony Stewart stays out. Some of the cars on the latter part of the lead lap pit. Lap 145: The caution is out. Jimmie Johnson has tagged the fence after he loses a tire. Johnson pits, gets out of the car. Lap 134: Kahne takes the lead from Stewart. Lap 128: Green flag. Stewart leads. Lap 124: Leaders all stay out. Lap 124: Good break for some cars, who will use the caution to come in and get tires. Gordon is able to come in for service. Lap 123: Caution is out again. Scott Riggs has hit the fence hard in Turn 2. Kurt Busch got loose and ran into Riggs. Lap 122: Jeff Gordon gets sideways but saves the car. Lap 121: Green flag. Stewart leads. Lap 118: Scott Wimmer stays out to lead a lap. Stewart gets a 15-second stop and retains lead out of the pits. Good stop for Mayfield. He is second out. Good stop for Vickers. Just over 14 seconds. Biffle and Schrader collide on pit road. Biffle has some left-front damage. He will be back in for service. Biffle will restart 34th. Jimmie Johnson took just two tires. He goes from 16th to seventh. Lap 116: Caution is out. Bobby Labonte has blown a right front tire in Turn 3. His day is done. Boris Said is the Lucky Dog. Lap 113: Look for pit stops in about 20 laps if we don't get a caution. Lap 108: Stewart has a four-second lead. This is the largest lead anyone has had all day. Lap 104: Stewart already has a 1.7 second lead. Lap 103: Boris Said makes unscheduled stop. Lap 100: Stewart takes lead from Vickers. Lap 97: Vickers passes Labonte for the lead. Lap 97: Green flag. Terry Labonte leads. Lap 93: Everyone in for service. Kyle Petty stays out and gets the lead. He pits and gives lead to Terry Labonte, who stays out. Brian Vickers takes two tires and wins the race off pit road. Sadler comes out second after a beautiful 13.3 second stop. Slow stop for Kahne (16.7) Biffle has an average stop and hits fenders with Bobby Labonte coming out of the pits. Johnson will have to come back in after his team left the catch can on his car upon exit. Lap 92: Caution is out. Jason Leffler has blown a tire. Michael Waltrip is the Lucky Dog. Lap 89: Stewart has cracked the top three for the first time Lap 87: Pretty smooth sailing for Kahne. He has nearly a one-second lead. Lap 82: Michael Waltrip is on pit road with a flat tire. No caution. He will be the only car one lap down. Lap 80: Halfway. Lap 80: Green flag. Kahne leads. Lap 77: Pit stops begin. Kahne stays out, retains lead. Brian Vickers comes in for four tires, as does Mears. Martin takes fuel only. Jeff Gordon comes in for major adjustments and four tires. Kevin Harvick takes two tires, but Harvick will have to go to the end of the line for a blending violation. Lap 74: Caution is out. Jimmie Johnson has looped his car around. There will be no Lucky Dog. Johnson pits, gets four tires. He will make a couple of pit stops. He pitted too soon and will have to go to the back of the field. Ricky Rudd has hit the fence very hard. He is out of the race. Lap 70: Kahne passes Mears for the lead. He is the sixth different leader. Lap 69: Kahne passes Sadler for second. Kahne is all over Mears' bumper. Lap 69: Green flag. Casey Mears leads. Lap 68: One to go. Lap 65: Pit road is open. A lot of the cars on the tail end of the lead lap are in for service. Lap 64: Pit road is still closed. Lap 61: Big wreck on the restart. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has hit the inside fence. He got turned by Mike Skinner. Martin Truex Jr. and Scott Wimmer also have damage. Truex gets out of his car and goes to the garage. Robby Gordon also has damage. Lap 61: Green flag. Casey Mears leads. Lap 60: Leaders in for service. Casey Mears stays out to get back the track position he lost from his spin. He is the leader. Elliott Sadler has another good stop and beats everyone out of the pits. He took two tires. Kenseth, Vickers and Harvick all take four tires. All have 14-second stops. Ricky Rudd is on pit road with carburetor problems. He will lose a lap. He speeds down pit road and will have to come back down. Lap 58: Joe Nemechek's left front tire has exploded. His car has severe damage. The caution is out. Travis Kvapil is the Lucky Dog. Lap 51: Matt Kenseth takes the lead. Kyle Busch to second. Vickers has fallen to third. Lap 51: Green-flag racing resumes with Brian Vickers on point. Lap 49: The leaders stay out, but several of the backmarkers are in for tires. Lap 47: Caution is out. Casey Mears has spun. He made a little bit of contact with Kurt Busch. Jeff Green will be the Lucky Dog. Lap 46: Green flag. Vickers leads. Lap 45: One to go until we go green again. Lap 42: This caution might take awhile. Repairs are being made to one of the turns. Lap 39: Leaders in for stops. Sadler takes four tires and will be passed by a lot of guys who took two. Sadler has a nice stop (13.6). Rudd and Mayfield have much better stops this time. Jeff Burton and Rusty Wallace have to make two stops each. Burton ran over his air hose, and Wallace has to come in after a tear-off got into his grill. Looks like Vickers took the lead with a two-tire stop. Waltrip, Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Biffle and Harvick all took two tires. All except for Harvick and Biffle will restart ahead of Sadler. Lap 38: Caution is out. Jeff Green has a tire failure. Robby Gordon gets the Lucky Dog. Lap 37: Tony Stewart is up to ninth. His car is excellent on long runs. Lap 35: Kahne gets around Vickers for third. Lap 33: Sadler has led all but one lap. Lap 31: Sadler has checked out again. Mayfield is all over Vickers' bumper for second. Lap 27: Green flag. Sadler leads. Travis Kvapil is the first car a lap down. Lap 26: Ken Schrader is headed back down pit road. A clutch problem for Schrader. His clutch won't release fully. Lap 24: Everyone comes in for service. Robby Gordon stays out to lead a lap. Elliott Sadler retains the lead with an excellent 13.6 second stop. Mayfield and Rudd have average stops. Mayfield might have a radio problem. Mark Martin picked up two spots. Brian Vickers gained one and will restart second. Jeff Burton's car rolled forward off the jack. His stop took forever. His car has some damage. Lap 23: The caution is out. Bobby Hamilton Jr. has lost a tire and dropped a lot of debris. All the lead lap cars will come to the pits. Bobby Hamilton gets the Lucky Dog. Lap 22: Mayfield is starting to cut into Sadler's lead. Lap 22: Sadler has already caught the rear of the field. Lap 20: Still under green. The pit window is 34 to 38 laps. Lap 19: Ryan Newman, who started sixth, in danger of falling out of top 20 Lap 17: Bobby Hamilton is the only car not on the lead lap. Lap 17: Looks like Jeremy Mayfield is the only car who can even stay on the same straightaway as Sadler. Lap 12: Sadler has led every lap. Lap 11: All 43 cars are still on the lead lap Lap 9: Dale Earnhardt Jr. is 40th. He started 27th.
