Lap 173 -- Seven of the nine Chase drivers are in the top 10 as green-flag racing resumes with Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman in the top five. Nos. 6-10: Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, Rusty Wallace and Mark Martin.

Lap 164 -- Matt Kenseth, who slows on the inside apron reporting an electrical problem but then pulls back onto the track, becomes the second Chase driver to fall a lap down. Jeremy Mayfield (-1) is the other.

Lap 160 -- The top five: Greg Biffle -- for the 136th lap -- Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards and Ryan Newman.

Lap 150 -- With 25 drivers on the lead lap, 18 are at least a lap down, including Chase contender Jeremy Mayfield (-1).

• Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of four drivers in the garage.

Lap 140 -- Greg Biffle has expanded his lead over second-place Kevin Harvick to 3.789 seconds. Third-place Tony Stewart trails by 5.280 seconds.

Lap 5 -- Denny Hamlin still leads Greg Biffle. This is the first time Hamlin has led a race since Oct. 15 at Charlotte, when he led one lap -- the only time he had led a Cup race before today.

Lap 2 -- Greg Biffle passes Jimmie Johnson for second place.
