This holiday season, NASCAR fans can find the broadest selection of Christmas-themed die-cast cars ever. Here's a look at what's out there:

• 2006 Jeff Gordon Foundation Holiday Die-cast: For the third consecutive year, The Jeff Gordon Foundation is celebrating the holidays by presenting a holiday-themed fantasy car designed by motorsports artist Sam Bass. This year, the No. 24 showcases jolly Santa on the hood. The 1:24-scale collectible is available exclusively through the 2006 Holiday season. It features a 100% metal body, manufacturer specific engine specifications, detailed interior and suspension, opening hood and trunk, high quality paint, Tampo-printed graphics and individual serial numbers. All proceeds benefit The Jeff Gordon Foundation, which pledges its support for children and their families through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Marrow Foundation (which includes the Hendrick Marrow Program), Riley Hospital for Children and Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital at NorthEast Medical Center.

• 2006 Sam Bass Holiday Die-cast: For NASCAR fans, Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a new Sam Bass Holiday die-cast car. Bass and Motorsports Authentics have teamed up to create what may be the most eye-catching holiday-themed collectible yet. This car is enough to make even the Grinch cut backflips! The sixth installment in Sam's annual Holiday Car series is punctuated by the image of Santa himself on the hood. Adding to the Yuletide motif are Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer, a polar bear, snowflakes, wreaths, Christmas trees, candy canes and plenty of ribbon. At first glance, one might think the car is already gift-wrapped! Fittingly, the No. 06 will serve as the door number.

• Sam Bass Driver Holiday Car Series: Bass has worked with Motorsports Authentics to develop a series of driver-specific Holiday die-casts showcasing some of NASCAR's most celebrated stars and cars. Each collectible is replicated in the car's actual paint scheme, but that design is embellished with a bevy of holiday-themed images created by Bass. Seven drivers are featured in the first installment: Kevin Harvick, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, and Elliott Sadler. You really have to see these cars to appreciate their beauty.
