The band will perform the national anthem as well as a complete set of songs prior to the starting time of the race. Pre-race coverage on NBC begins at 2:30 p.m. ET. About 180,000 people are expected to attend the seventh race in the Chase for the Nextel Cup.

DecembeRadio's current single, "Drifter," continues to bound up the charts, currently in the Top 10 and climbing (CHR radio), and is also making its way up the adult contemporary charts, according to R&R and CRW Magazine.

On Friday, DecembeRadio will join Atlanta's J-93.3 radio station and its Revolve Tour Rock Paper Scissors Tournament from 4-6 p.m at Arbor Place Mall's food court where the band will perform and sign CDs. Tickets will be given away to attend the Revolve Tour on Dec. 1-2 in the Atlanta area.

Named an artist to watch for 2006 by BILLBOARD Magazine, DecembeRadio left the crowd on its feet recently when it opened for Kid Rock at the Anderson District Managers Conference in Dallas, and the group continues to receive glowing reviews from major industry and consumer media nationwide and abroad. The band has been a highlight of this year's national SHOUTFEST tour and enjoyed primetime positioning at AtlantaFest, Rock the Universe and other summer festivals.

DecembeRadio has been featured on the eyeplay/earplay in-store promotion in more than 3,000 general market stores in addition to their exposure through iTunes' Discovery Download program as well as key positioning in about 400 Wal-Mart stores. Their self-titled debut remained in the Top 10 inspirational downloads on iTunes for weeks following the album's street date.

DecembeRadio's self-titled release is distributed exclusively by Word Distribution/WEA and digitally through EMI CMG Distribution. The band is managed by Thomas Vasquez Entertainment, of Brentwood, Tenn. For further information, visit www.slantedrecords.com or www.decemberadio.com.
