Busch got by Biffle when the No. 16 machine had a loose wheel and skated up the speedway, and he was able to keep Harvick at bay despite the bumper-to-bumper racing. The victory by the 20-year-old Busch made him the sixth Nextel Cup regular to win in six Busch Series races this season. Harvick had dominated most of the day, leading a race-high 120 laps, but when he gave up the lead after a pit stop on Lap 148 because a window tearoff was stuck to his tire, he restarted 33rd -- half a lap down -- and couldn't chase down Busch. Harvick did hold on for second, while Matt Kenseth, who was side-by-side with Harvick's No. 21 car at the line, finished third. A 1-hour, 19-minutes and 2-seconds snow delay at Lap 32 forced a longer-than-expected day at the half-mile track, but when racing resumed, the weather held off. Accidents, however, did not. There were 13 cautions for 81 laps, the most of any Busch Series race this season. Stay with NASCAR.COM for more. |
