Kahne wins Ameriquest 300 on pit strategy

Kasey Kahne used pit strategy at California Speedway on Saturday night to win the Ameriquest 300.

Kahne passed Paul Menard with two laps remaining, then pulled away as Menard ran out of fuel. Menard coasted to the finish line in fourth place.

Points leader Kevin Harvick finished second. Mark Martin was third.
