Starting fifth, Harvick worked his way to the front in the Emerson Radio 250 and almost never let go. Jeff Burton slipped by him once. Then Scott Wimmer led when pit strategy mixed up the field. But it didn't take long for the series' runaway points leader to get back to where he was most comfortable -- up front. Harvick led 153 of the 250 laps to win his third consecutive Richmond race. Greg Biffle finished second, followed by Matt Kenseth, Paul Menard and Reed Sorenson. It was Harvick's series-leading sixth victory of the season, extending his massive points lead to 619 points. Just five drivers are mathematically eligible to win the title with seven races remaining in the season. Stay with NASCAR.COM for more. |
