MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- After a five-year joint-venture, Busch Series team owner Armando Fitz and Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw have agreed to end their business relationship at the end of the 2006 season.

"It's been a really great experience working with Terry," Fitz said, "but with his increasing obligations in broadcasting and film, he would be unable to fulfill his role in promoting our sponsors. We will continue our friendship and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors".

Bradshaw, while having an affinity for NASCAR, regrets having to end his involvement.

"I love racing, and I treasure the relationships I've made with so many wonderful people connected with NASCAR that I've met during the past five years," Bradshaw said, "but my schedule is making it harder and harder to fulfill the necessary race team sponsor commitments for personal appearances, and it's time for me to move on."

A four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bradshaw has ventured into movies, commercials, and most recently, television sitcoms. He's also a popular public speaker, and famed Fox pre-game NFL host. Bradshaw's most recent screen endeavors have been the 2006 movie Failure to Launch and newly produced television sitcom Relative Chaos.

"I have truly enjoyed my involvement with NASCAR," Bradshaw continued, "and especially my relationship with Armando Fitz. While our professional relationship is ending, our personal friendship remains unchanged. Armando has some very exciting plans for his race team in '07, and I wish him all the success in the world."

Fitz, gearing up for the 2007 race season, has some new affiliations and plans in the works that will soon be announced.
