CHICAGO -- Dennis Setzer will drive the No. 85 Chevy Silverado for Morgan-Dollar Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The truck, with a brand-new paint scheme, was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show as part of a new GM E85 ethanol marketing and advertising campaign: Live Green Go Yellow.

GM announced its support of the NCTS in the 2006 season on Monday with the title sponsorship of the first GM FlexFuel 250, to be held Feb. 17 at Daytona International Speedway. The Morgan-Dollar Silverado will help promote E85 use and showcase GM's E85 ethanol FlexFuel vehicle leadership to loyal NASCAR fans throughout the year.

"There are thousands of E85 Silverado trucks already on the road and thousands more coming this year," said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager. "With the driving talent of Dennis Setzer carrying the banner, we will educate consumers about the benefits of Live Green Go Yellow, all while taking the checkered flag, too."

In addition to the E85 Morgan-Dollar Silverado, E85-powered Chevrolet cars and trucks will pace the starting fields of all the 2006 Speed Weeks events at Daytona. FlexFuel-branded 2006 Silverado trucks also will pace the fields of the majority of NCTS races throughout the season.

"E85 complements the world of racing, as it is a high-octane fuel that delivers no degradation in performance," said Terry Dolan, marketing manager for Chevrolet racing. "It also has the added benefit of lower emissions, compared to 100-percent gasoline fuel, and reduces dependence on foreign oil."

Setzer and the Morgan-Dollar Motorsports team make their racing debut with the E85 truck -- formerly No. 46 -- at the GM FlexFuel 250, which kicks off the 25-race 2006 NCTS season.

"We're very excited about running the new E85 Silverado," said Setzer. "This is a compliment to the professionalism of our entire Morgan-Dollar Motorsports organization to partner with GM and Chevrolet on this program. It is important to the future of our country and our sport."

Setzer, one of the sport's premier drivers, finished second in points for the 2005 NCTS season - for the third straight year. During the last 10 years he has finished in the NCTS Top 10 seven times.

"Our goal is to start the 2006 season with a victory in the GM FlexFuel 250 and make a run for the NCTS championship," he said.

The audience of NASCAR fans will put the E85 message in front of millions of consumers throughout the season - a season that Morgan-Dollar Motorsports' goals include claiming the championship after three consecutive years in the runner-up position.

"This is an exciting opportunity for our team and we are looking to start off a winning season with our new number at Daytona," said team owner David Dollar. "With NASCAR being the No. 1 spectator sport in the United States, we feel privileged to be chosen to carry the E85 ethanol message."
