Johnny Benson took the lead late and blew away a dominant Ron Hornaday on the final restart to win the Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 at the Milwaukee Mile. Hornaday started from the pole and led most of the night before Benson, who started fourth, crept his way up front and eased by the veteran with less than 30 laps to go. He never looked back, winning by more than 4 seconds. Mike Bliss got by Hornaday in the final laps to finish second, his best performance of the season. Jack Sprague and David Reutimann rounded out the top five. It was Benson's second victory in as many weeks, after winning his first career Truck Series race last Saturday at Kentucky. Benson became the first repeat winner in the Truck Series since the season's first two weeks. Points leader Todd Bodine had trouble late and wound up a lap down in 20th.
