Benson surprise NCTS winner at Nashville

Johnny Benson took advantage of a heated battle between Mike Skinner and Todd Bodine in the final two laps to win the Toyota Tundra 200 on Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway.

With two laps remaining on a final restart, second-place Bodine made contact with Skinner to take the lead. Skinner retaliated on the final lap, spinning both out of contention.

Benson was there to take the lead and his third Truck Series victory of the season.

Benson is second in points, 144 behind Bodine.

Jack Sprague finished second. Marcos Ambrose was third. Ted Musgrave was fourth and Brendan Gaughan finished fifth.

Bodine finished eighth and Skinner, who led the most laps with 50, fell to 17th.
