NASCAR memorabilia collectors often have questions about the items they've accumulated. Here are our responses to some of your most recent inquiries:
Q: I have a 1999 Press Pass Signings card autographed Dale Earnhardt Jr. Do you know what the value of this is? -- Micki
A: A great card here. In mint condition, it is worth $200-250.
Q: I have a few uncut tickets from Texas Motor Speedway. They are from 2000, which was Dale Earnhardt's last race there. Are they worth anything? -- DWAS
A: Unless they bear his picture, the value is minimal, $5-12 at best.
Q: I have a set of 1996 Jeff Gordon metallic card set (set of 10) with Certificate of Authenticity from Winston. Just wondering what the going price would be on them. -- Brandon Cooper
A: These were made by Metallic Impressions. The value tops out at around $25 for the complete set.
Q: I have a 1:64 scale Racing Champions Dale Earnhardt limited edition die-cast, 1 of 5,000. It is in a sealed PVC plastic case never opened. The case is marked 1993 champion. I can't find the value. -- Longshot
A: Awesome 1:64 collectible. It has a solid value of $50-60.
Q: I have the complete set of the Richard Petty cars that came in the Cheerios cereal boxes in or about 2004. I am wondering about what this complete set is worth. They are still in there original packages. I also have the three-car set (43, 44, 45) of the Gold Series. These were marked with Cheerios, Petty and Sprint markings. -- CorvairPapa
A: The Gold set appraises for $15-20. The other cars in perfect condition are worth $4-6.
Q: I have a print of Alan Kulwicki overlooking his race car team in front of his racing pit. His crew is changing tires on the Ford Thunderbird sponsored by Hooters. The print is No. 53 of 100 by Bob Blanchard and in the center it says: Ford Salutes Alan Kulwicki and the Hooters race team 1992 Nascar Winston Cup Champions. There are three signatures to the left of the Ford insignia. Can you please advise what it may be worth? --John
A: Some of the value would depend on who those signatures belonged to. I'm figuring the artist and Kulwicki himself account for two of them. Blanchard is not as well known among NASCAR collectors as, say, Sam Bass or Garry Hill. But 100 is an extremely small edition size. With all those factors in mind, I'd place the value in the $200-450 range.
Q: My wife picked up on eBay a 1991 No. 1 Jeff Gordon/Baby Ruth Thunderbird, 1:24 Scale, 1 of 7500 Limited Edition Collectable by Racing Collectables, Inc (made by Revell for them in 1992). It has an opening hood and turning tires. The car looks perfect, and the original box shows only little wear on the flaps. I was wondering what price you would place on it now. -- Everett Nelson
A: My buddies Stan Gill and "Waterbed" Fred Miller (former crew chief on the famed Blue Max Funny Car) were the founders of Racing Collectables, Inc/RCCA before it was acquired by Action. They raised the bar for authenticity when they introduced their 1:24 line. The Gordon car is one of the most valuable. It is a $400-500 piece.
Q: I have a dollar bill signed by Lee, Richard, Kyle and Adam Petty. In addition, it is autographed by Dale Earnhardt Sr. the year he won his seventh championship. The Petty signatures were gathered over the years. I carried it in my wallet for many years but it is presently in a frame in my living room. -- Preston Watts
A: This is a unique collectible, and a very valuable one. Personally, I would place the value at $250-350.

Q: I have two tickets for the 1992 Atlanta 500 that are complete. The customers I was taking were a no-show, and I just kept the tickets. Last year I got Richard Petty to autograph them for me at a Freightliner Promotion. He laughed and said that these were probably the only two unused tickets in the world and said if I ever wanted to get rid of them to get in touch with him. What are they worth in your opinion? -- Wayne Oglesby
A: Wow, what a race. Petty's last. Jeff Gordon's first. And Alan Kulwicki won a squeeker of a championship battle. It doesn't get any better than that. Right now, I'd say the tickets are worth around $35. But in the future, those values could increase dramatically.
Q: Several years ago I purchased a 1:24 RCCA 1994 Lumina bank on Ebay. This car was for RCCA members ONLY, according to the box that it came in. It's 1 of 5,016. The car and box are in perfect shape. I have looked everywhere for the value for the car but I cannot find a listing for this car anywhere. -- Judy Guidotti
A: This is a good solid collectible. It is worth $200-250 in terms of collectibility.
