1. What's the best advice you ever received and who was it from?
Travis Kvapil: I don't know who said it first but "good things happen to good people" and kind of off that is "if you put in a lot of hard work, you'll receive rewards and be able to reach your goal." It's probably along those lines.
2. What's your favorite board game?
Kvapil: I don't really have a favorite myself but I have a couple of kids who like to play games and right now it's "Trouble." When you push the bubble, you get a number and work your way around. My little 3-year-old really likes playing that one right now.

3. What's the one thing you do that drives your family crazy?
Kvapil: I constantly like to clean up and pick things up. I like to keep things a little tidy and with three kids, it's a little tough to do.
4. Who would you trade places with, and why?
Kvapil: Hmm. Boy, I don't know if I'd like to trade places with anybody permanently but I'd definitely like to live a few days as Dale Earnhardt did in his prime, winning races. He was the man. It would be neat to experience that feeling.
5. What's your favorite pizza topping?
Kvapil: Sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese.
6. What do you feel is your biggest strength?
Kvapil: Focus and dedication, probably. If there's a task at hand, I definitely attack it and stay focused.
7. What's No. 1 on your "things to accomplish" list?
Kvapil: When you look broader than racing, in life as a whole, it's to raise a good family, be a good father and try to teach your kids to do the right things.
8. What was your first job?
Kvapil: Well, I guess the first job I had, my dad owned a body shop. As a kid, I'd go in there on Saturdays and empty the trash cans, sweep the floors, clean the bathrooms, whatever needed to be done on Saturdays.
9. What was the last CD you added to your music player?
Kvapil: The way technology is nowadays, you download so much stuff. I think the last CD I actually bought was a band named Chevelle. Kind of an alternative rock band.
10. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
Kvapil: I guess to be a little more outspoken, a little more outgoing. I'm kind of reserved and a little bit to myself. I'm a little bit shy, on the shy side. To learn those skills as you're growing up in school and stuff, to be a little more outspoken and kind of speak up for yourself and be a little more outgoing.
