No Busch repeats, but five drivers stand out at NHIS

To say one driver, or even one team, has dominated New Hampshire International Speedway would be a stretch.

In 20 Busch Series races at the 1.058-mile track, there have been 20 different winners. And just one team owner has won multiple races as Jack Roush went to Victory Lane with Matt Kenseth in 2004 and again with Carl Edwards in 2006.

Heading into Saturday's Camping World 200 (2:30 p.m. ET, ABC), however, it's been a select group of drivers who have routinely run up front as of late.

The Richard Childress Racing drivers have led the laps. Roush men have their victories. And Denny Hamlin is closer to Victory Lane than anybody who hasn't been there.

But as for being close to Edwards in the big picture, even after three stand-alone series races, nobody is on the same racetrack.

Interesting Fact

776Points that separate 1-2 in the Busch Series standings after 17 races. Last season 789 points separated 1-10 after 17 races.

Fun Fact

231Highest wind velocity ever recorded on earth was at the summit of Mount Washington in New Hampshire in 1934. In contrast, the New Hampshire track record for the Busch Pole is 100 mph slower, at 130.716 mph.
