1. What's the best advice you ever received and who was it from?
Claire B. Lang: It would have to be my mother. She is great at giving advice. There's a couple of things. I was always very little for my age, so my mother told me, "Good things come in little packages." And my mother also told me, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions," meaning if you want to do something good for someone, it's OK, but you need to do it.

2. What was your first car?
Lang: There's two cars that I remember. One car was a white car with red interior, which was my dad's car, which was the first one I got to drive. And then the first new car that I owned was when I was working in radio and I got a yellow sports car with an extended front. It was rather new when I crashed it.
3. What's at the top of your "things to accomplish" list?
Lang: I want to give back. Broadcasting is so much about what you're involved in at the moment. You don't have a whole lot of time. In my life, I want to spend some time giving back. I want to teach kids, I want to have more time to give back for all the things that I've been able to do in my life.
4. What was your first job?
Lang: I worked at a boutique. I think it was called "Id" in Green Bay, Wis. Like a funky clothing boutique. After that, I was a waitress at Big Boy's, and not a very good waitress. The first thing I did was destroy the pie case.
5. What was your favorite subject in school?
Lang: Probably English. I liked English a lot, especially writing.
6. What's your favorite vacation spot?
Lang: Sport fishing on the ocean, on the open seas. Miles out into the ocean. I love being out on the ocean, fishing for king mackerel.
7. What's your favorite place to eat and your favorite meal?
Lang: My favorite place to is eat is at home, since I eat out all the time. I make great soup. I mean, I love to be home and make soup and serve a lot of people. It's really good soup. Since I'm gone all the time, I love nothing more than to be home and to do the cooking.
8. What's the last movie you saw?
Lang: The other day, at my hotel, The Secret Garden. It's the little girl and she brings to life this crippled boy and the father. I was in my hotel and I thought that was the sweetest movie. I just turned on the TV and it was on, and I couldn't turn it off. It was a good movie.
9. What advice would you give to somebody just starting out in broadcasting?
Lang: There's a book called Failing Forward, a New York Times bestseller. It has been the best business advice I could ever give anyone. Anytime you have a failure, don't give up. Everybody famous, everybody rich, everybody successful, everybody happy has failed. When you're a kid, your parents teach you how to succeed. But a lot of times, you don't teach kids how to fail. It's really those who fail and not succeed that do well. If you know how to fail, you will succeed.
10. Who's your all-time favorite Green Bay Packer?
Lang: Brett Favre. Love him.
