Sunday may be one of the most unique days of the whole Busch Series season. Once again it's a short field with only 42 cars on the entry list, but the diversity among them may be the most ever in a NASCAR event.

Seven drivers entered in the Telcel-Motorola 200 (1:30 p.m. ET, ESPN 2) were born in Mexico. Four of them were born in Mexico City, home of the 2.518-mile Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez road course: Carlos Contreras, Adrian Fernandez, Michel Jourdain Jr. and German Quiroga Jr.

Jorge Goeters (San Luis Potosi), Rogelio Lopez (West Caliente) and Antonio Perez (Zapopan) are the other Mexican-born drivers who will race Sunday.

But the international flavor isn't just limited to the track's home country.

Interesting Fact

12 Drivers entered in the Telcel-Motorola 200 who were born outside of the United States. In addition to the seven Mexican-born drivers, the list includes hometowns in Columbia (Juan Montoya), Ontario (J.R. Fitzpatrick Jr. and Ron Fellows), Tasmania (Marcos Ambrose) and Venezuela (Alex Garcia).
