Two is the loneliest number at Richmond.

By the Numbers: Richmond

Paul Menard, Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle have got to be tired of this whole bridesmaid thing. At least at Richmond, anyway.

They are the three drivers who have finished second in the last three races at the .75-mile short track. And two of them hope to change that in Friday's Circuit City 250 (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Menard isn't running the race, making him the only driver among last fall's top-10 finishers who are not entered this weekend.

Burton and Biffle are.

Burton, a Virginia native, has a pair of victories and 11 top-10s in 20 starts at the track. But he also has eight DNFs. If he finishes the race, he finishes well; his worst performance aside from the DNFs is 11th.

Biffle has 11 starts at Richmond, seven of which were top-10 finishes. He's riding a string of six consecutive races at the track where his worst finish is 11th.

They have, at least, changed things up a bit each time the checkered flag waved. That's not the case with two of the drivers they were racing.
