If you start in the rear of the field of Friday's Power Stroke Diesel 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park (7:30 p.m. ET, SPEED), visions of a Victory Lane visit should disappear before the green flag drops.

O'Reilly is a .686-mile short track in Indianapolis and is one of the hardest tracks on the Truck Series circuit to pass on. In 12 races at the track, the winner has started from the top five in each of them with only two races won from a starting position outside the top three.

Needless to say, last year's second-place finisher Dennis Setzer says qualifying and setup mean everything for this weekend's race.

"Where you qualify makes a difference because track position is so important," said Setzer, who has an average finish of 7.6 in 10 O'Reilly races. "You have to be hooked up through and off both ends of the track.

"If you don't have a truck that will do what you need in the center of the corner, you can't set up to pass as you exit -- which is where you have to make your moves."

Interesting Fact

350Mike Skinner won the first two Truck Series races at O'Reilly leading every single lap (350) in both races back in 1995 and 1996. He became only the fourth driver in any NASCAR national series to lead every lap in two consecutive races at a track. Junior Johnson at Bowman-Gray (N.C.) Stadium in 1963-64; Ned Jarrett at Birmingham (Ala.) International Raceway in 1964-65 and Bobby Isaac at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway in 1969-70 were the other three.

Fun Fact

2O'Reilly Auto Parts bears the name for the track the trucks will race at this week and the company also sponsors a race in the Craftsman Truck Series. The O'Reilly 250 has run at Kansas Speedway since 2001. Two drivers, Terry Cook and Carl Edwards have won at both the O'Reilly track (formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park) and the O'Reilly race.
