It's been more than 10 years since Kenny Wallace has been behind the wheel of a truck, but all that changes on Saturday when Wallace gets in the No. 51 Billy Ballew Chevrolet to race in the Dodge Ram Tough 200 at Gateway International Raceway (5 p.m. ET, SPEED).

"I am very grateful for Billy Ballew to ask me to drive his truck at a time when I was down and out," Wallace said. "Billy picked me up and to be able to drive this team's equipment in my hometown of St. Louis; well it gets no better then that."

In nine Truck Series starts, Wallace has two top-fives and four top-10s but he has never raced a truck at Gateway. He has however raced in the Busch Series at the 1.25-mile track, but hasn't seen that much success.

His best NBS finish is a sixth back in 2001 and he has just three top-10s in nine races, including a 34th-place finish last month. Compare that with brother Mike, who has three top-10s in four races in a truck at Gateway, including a fifth back in 1999 and it's clear some good competition within the Wallace clan is what is motivating Kenny.

"I have some unfinished business with Mike at Gateway," Wallace said. "He may have more starts there in a truck but I've had some good runs in the Busch car here. I just look forward to this opportunity to get a good top-five run in our hometown for Billy Ballew Motorsports."

Interesting Fact

4There have been four families to have at least three brothers race in the Craftsman Truck Series: Mike, Kenny and Rusty Wallace; Brett, Geoffrey and Todd Bodine; David, Jeff and Mark Green; and Jay, Johnny and Tim Sauter. All four families will have a driver in this week's race at Gateway: Kenny Wallace, Todd Bodine, David Green and Tim Sauter.

Fun Fact

28This week's race is held in Madison, Ill., but when you make travel plans, be sure to specify. There are 28 states with a city named Madison. Ironically there is only one Madison west of the Rocky Mountains, in California. South Carolina loved the name Madison so much, they are the only state with two cities named Madison.
