By the Numbers: Richmond

The schedule says Richmond. The past says Richard Childress Racing in Victory Lane.

RCR cars have been the frontrunners at the .75-mile track for the past three years. As have Chevrolets. That doesn't mean each race has been a runaway, however.

Fords have recorded 10 top-10 finishes at the track since 2005, coincidently the last time a blue oval won a race there. That was Carl Edwards in a Roush-owned Ford. And of those 10 top-10s, eight of them have come from the same team. Want to guess who it was?

Interesting Fact

3Drivers who did not fall out of the top 10 during the May race at Richmond: Matt Kenseth (5th), Clint Bowyer (8th) and Greg Biffle (8th).

Fun Fact

$1,000,910Winnings this year for Carl Edwards, who became the second-fastest driver to reach the $1 million milestone. Martin Truex Jr. earned more than $1 million after just 20 races in 2005.
