Five races this season held on concrete, four of them won by Carl Edwards. It's been documented and the runaway points leader has even been coined as the Concrete King.

Aside from the paving product on which Edwards has found success this season, a unique characteristic about his four wins are that they've come consecutively.

He won at Bristol in March and celebrated two weeks later in the Busch Series' next race, on the concrete speedway in Nashville. Then in June, he put his No. 60 in Victory Lane at Dover for the first time in his career and followed it up with another win at Nashville. He fell short at the Bristol night race, finishing 11th.

Saturday's RoadLoans.com 200 at Dover marks the final concrete race in the dwindling Busch Series season. Therefore there's no chance for Edwards to continue his string of back-to-back victories on the lightly colored surface. Not that it matters to him, because he still manages to run near the front.

Interesting Fact

392Laps led by Carl Edwards this season on concrete tracks. Only two other drivers have led more laps than that during the entire season: Kyle Busch (941) and Jeff Burton (438).

Fun Fact

60Feet above sea level, on average, that the state of Delaware sits, the lowest average altitude of the 50 United States.
