Kansas and its infancy to NASCAR leads to some up-to-date statistics that mostly deal with the current drivers running the schedule. And some rare statistics, too.
For example, 133 drivers have made a Busch Series start at Kansas Speedway, but for 69 of those drivers, it was their only start at the track. That means 51.9 percent of drivers who have raced at the track have only done it once.
Another example, only 14 drivers have more than one top-10 finish at Kansas. Yet 37 drivers have lead laps at the track.
The thing is, for the drivers who have dialed their car in for an up-front running position, they haven't stayed there until the end.
