It's been a crazy season for Truck Series veteran Dennis Setzer.

Beginning the year with Spears Motorsports, he raced the first 17 races and took the No. 75 Chevrolet to Victory Lane at Mansfield. But he was replaced in the truck by Clay Rogers and Setzer found himself without a ride.

After filling in for Green Light Racing at New Hampshire, Setzer took the wheel of the No. 18 Bobby Hamilton Racing Dodge and has three consecutive top-10s in three races run with a seventh at Las Vegas, a fifth at Talladega and a 10th last week at Martinsville.

As he goes for number four in the Easy Care 200 on Saturday at Atlanta (12:30 p.m. ET, SPEED), Setzer has the opportunity to join exclusive company. If he is able to earn $45,106, he will join Jack Sprague as the only competitors to earn $5 million in the Truck Series.

Sprague has earned $6,709,744 in 268 starts while Setzer will hit the $5 million mark in his 239th start.

Interesting Fact

3The Truck Series is in the middle of the "repeat" part of their schedule. Only three tracks get a visit from the Truck Series twice, and the three are run back-to-back. Martinsville last week, Atlanta this week and Texas next week are the only tracks to get more than one visit.

Fun Fact

100If everyone on the 36-truck entry list takes the green flag on Saturday at Atlanta, then AMS will have had 100 different Truck Series drivers make a start at the 1.54-mile speedway. Currently 96 different drivers have started a Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
