CENTRAL CITY, Ky. -- Brewco Motorsports Inc. announced Tuesday that 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton will drive the No. 27 Kleenex Ford Fusion in the Busch Series in 2007. "I'm excited to be working with Brewco, team owner Clarence Brewer Jr. and crew chief Stewart Cooper," Burton said, "as well as a great long-running sponsor like Kimberly-Clark. I'm also excited to be back in the Busch Series, especially with a stand-alone Busch Series team. I know Clarence is giving us the resources we need to have competitive cars each and every week."

Burton's Busch Series career spans nine years and 145 races. Along the way he racked up four wins, with 23 top-five and 49 top-10 finishes. Burton won the Daytona 500 in Nextel Cup competition in 2002.

"We're thrilled to have a veteran like Ward in the No. 27 Kleenex Ford in 2007," Cooper said. "We got a bit off track in 2006 and didn't get the results we know we're capable of. The whole Brewco team has worked extra hard this offseason to get our cars ready for 2007 and with the commitment of our guys, the support of Kimberly-Clark and Ward's experience and track record, we know we have the tools to win."

"Kimberly-Clark, with its Kleenex, Viva and Scotts brands, is the longest-standing, continuous primary sponsor in the NASCAR Busch Series," said Stephen Abdo, director of motorsports for Kimberly-Clark. "We are looking forward to extending our Busch Series sponsorship activity and we're ready for an exciting and successful 2007 with Ward Burton and Brewco Motorsports."

The driver of the remaining 2007 races in the No. 27 Ford will be named in the coming weeks.
