Fans at Daytona International Speedway were asked, "What's your opinion of Toyota entering Nextel Cup in 2007?"

• Scott Hicks, Northfield, N.J.: I'm a little apprehensive but they made a nice showing coming into the Truck Series. They weren't bullying anybody, so I'm looking forward to the competition.

• Mike Woebkenberg, Farmersville, Ohio: NASCAR has been an all-U.S. item forever, but since Toyota's made here, it's kind of an "either way."

• Ronnie Higginbotham, Daytona Beach: I kind of figured when they came into the Trucks, it was gonna happen eventually. I am kind of old school but it's America, and they are the only car built here.

• Ben Dorschner, Woodbine, Ga.: My preference is obviously American-made vehicles.

• Michael Miller, Daytona Beach: Obviously, it's a foreign car company and America loves NASCAR. You see a lot of fans coming in and some are going to go with Michael Waltrip and Dale Jarrett. I think the first year, they're going to struggle but the second year, they'll be up and going and be a good team.

• Francis Bennett, St. Augustine, Fla.: I don't have a problem with them. Free enterprise, let 'em race. Let's see what they've got.

• Jill French, Long Island, N.Y.: I think it's a bad move. They have no experience in the race. They have no practice on the track. I think it's going to be a big problem.

• Jeff Gerstenlauer, St. Cloud, Fla.: It took Dale Jarrett, so I'm cool with it.

• Linda Shepard, Clermont, Fla.: Oh, I think that's a great thing. That'll make it more exciting.
