KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- Best Buy announced Thursday one of their retail partners, Samsung Electronics America, Inc., will be an associate sponsor of the No. 66 Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet, driven by Jeff Green in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. Samsung will be featured on the rear quarter panels of the No. 66 in the 21 events in which Best Buy is the primary sponsor, and will serve as the primary sponsor in one additional event (TBD). "We're thrilled to have Samsung join us on the No. 66 team," said Barry Judge, senior vice president of marketing, Best Buy. "Samsung is focused on bringing a great experience to consumers, which is what Best Buy and stock car racing are all about, so it's a great fit. We're looking forward to working with them on exciting and innovative ways to activate their sponsorship, both at-track and at Best Buy retail locations." Driver Jeff Green, along with representatives from Samsung and Best Buy, unveiled the new paint design of the No. 66 during a luncheon for media members at Haas CNC Racing's new 150,000-square foot facility in Kannapolis, N.C., on Thursday.
