10 Questions: Hornaday

1. What's the best advice you ever received and who was it from?

Hornaday: Just be yourself and don't do nothing to anybody you wouldn't want done to you and treat people like you'd want to be treated. That's mainly from the family.

2. Which athlete outside of racing do you most admire?

Hornaday: Is Larry the Cable Guy an athlete? I'm not too much into sports. Actually, running backs. Anybody who gets run over by them other guys.

3. If you could take somebody to eat in your hometown of Palmdale, Calif., where would you go?

Hornaday: It definitely would be Mexican food and I'd take my mom, if she was still around.

4. What was your first job?

Hornaday: Fourteen years old, working at R&R Transmission.

5. What's your favorite place to drive?

Hornaday: My pontoon boat on Lake Norman.

6. What's your favorite TV show?

Hornaday: It'd have to be the Comedy channel.

7. If you could choose someone to play you in a movie, who would it be?

Hornaday: There's nobody who could compare. Clint Eastwood? He's a tough a--.

8. What do you feel is your biggest strength?

Hornaday: The team. My wife.

9. What was the best Christmas present you ever received?

Hornaday: It probably would be my first motorcycle. I wanted it for a long time before my dad bought it for me.

10. What's your favorite vacation spot?

Hornaday: Anywhere where you can have time with your family.
