Rookie heads to second short track in as many weeks

Now that Juan Montoya gets to put the beating and banging from Bristol in his rearview mirror, he's got Martinsville next -- a smaller track that can be less forgiving when it comes to navigating the paperclip corners.

Montoya is coming off his worst finish this season: a 32nd-place showing at Bristol where he was seven laps down. So going to Martinsville for the second consecutive short-track race and the second consecutive Car of Tomorrow event, he hopes the growing pains heal themselves.

Montoya can be heard on Sirius Speedway (3-7 p.m. ET Mondays) with Dave Moody on Sirius channel 128, and NASCAR.COM will track Montoya's first full Cup season:
