Where's Juan? Dover

After a 28th-place finish last week at Charlotte, Juan Montoya and the No. 42 team slipped one spot to 22nd in the Nextel Cup standings. But the tight points race from 12th on keeps the rookie within shouting distance.

He is only 23 points out of 20th position and 161 out of 12th.

Still, last week's tough time at Charlotte wasn't what he expected in NASCAR's longest race.

Montoya's machine suffered damage when Jimmie Johnson's tire came off on Lap 53, resulting in multiple cars making contact.

"All I saw was the tire flying," Montoya said. "The tire was flying and as soon as I saw the tire off I checked up at the start/finish line. I managed to slow down my car but I just got pushed from behind into the No. 9 car [Kasey Kahne] and that was it."

Now Montoya turns his sights on the 1-mile concrete oval at Dover, a place he has never been.
