TALLADEGA, Ala. -- As the Aaron's 499 weekend dawned bright and clear, the Official NASCAR Members Club started the process that will see more than 200 of its members experience what it's like to get up close and personal with the world of NASCAR.
Some 300-400 ONMC members are expected to check in at the VIP location on Talladega's midway, just outside the main straightaway. More than 200 of them will either go on an informative, guided garage tour or attend the pre-race driver introductions on Saturday and Sunday.

"When you think about the value of being an Official Member of NASCAR, this is one of the key components," said Matt Newsom, senior vice president of business development for the ONMC. "You have the ability, with our Reservation Allocation System, to guarantee a chance to get within arm's length of today's NASCAR stars."
VIP events, such as guided garage tours and the close proximation to the Driver Introduction Stage, take place nearly every weekend, depending on the track. At a majority of the 38 events, there's a celebrity Q&A session with a top driver or NASCAR personality.
Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Bobby Allison, Bill Elliott, Rusty Wallace and the legendary Richard Petty are just some of the drivers who have appeared at the track on behalf of the ONMC, with many more to come.
Membership does have its privileges, and access is one of them. Others include deals and discounts on food, entertainment and services in your local area, the opportunity to network with other members and NASCAR fans at home and across the country and so much more.
