TAMPA, Fla. -- Brianne Cronrath has renewed primary sponsorship with Checkers/Rally's that will enable her to run a second season in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
"I am honored to be representing Checkers/Rally's again this year," Cronrath said. "It's an unbelievable opportunity to be aligned with a company that's so driven on growth and diversity. I look forward to eating more burgers and fries at the home of the double drive-thru and putting them in the winner's circle."
Cronrath, 22, competed last driving Late Models as part of NASCAR's Drive for Diversity program, which she joined in 2005 at mid-season.
The partnership guarantees primary sponsorship from Checkers/Rally's in 18 races, as well as the rights to use Cronrath's likeness for promotional purposes. Checkers/Rally's has been an ongoing supporter of NASCAR in providing a platform for up-and-coming drivers to take their career to the next level.
"We welcome the opportunity to assist NASCAR in promoting its diversity endeavors," said Jason Wonderly, sports marketing manager at Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. "At the same time, we are honored to play a role in furthering Brianne's career as she works her way up the NASCAR circuit. The Checkers/Rally's corporate and franchise communities look forward to cheering Brianne on this year and we wish her the best of luck."
