CONCORD, N.C. -- You can't race them but now you can ride with NASCAR celebrities as part of the Fifth Annual Ride To Victory on Oct. 14. Part of Kyle Petty Charity Ride Inc., this year's Ride To Victory will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a year-round facility serving children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses.

Motorsports Authentics, the leader in the design, promotion, marketing and distribution of licensed motorsports merchandise, is a proud sponsor of this year's event.

The one-day motorcycle ride gives fans the opportunity to ride across North Carolina with NASCAR celebrities while supporting a great cause. The ride is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14.

Rally points for this year's ride include Carolina Harley-Davidson of Gastonia, N.C., and Tilley Harley-Davidson in Statesville, N.C. The full group will depart from Tilley Harley-Davidson at 11:15 a.m. and head to Mooresville, N.C., where they will have a chance to tour Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports facility before concluding the ride at the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, N.C.

Participating fans and motorcycle enthusiasts will receive a commemorative pin, a Chase Authentics "Ride To Victory V" T-shirt and a catered lunch.

Founded in 2003, the Ride To Victory builds upon the success of the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America. Since its formation the Charity Ride Across America has logged more than 49,000 miles, with more than 5,700 riders raising $11 million for various children's hospitals and charities.

"The Ride To Victory event has been a great fundraiser for us," said Kyle Petty, who founded the camp along with his wife, Pattie. "This is going to be our fifth ride and it has grown so much in a short period of time. The fans, drivers and crew members in the Charlotte area have really found this to be an event they can participate in."

The Victory Junction Gang Camp is a member of The NASCAR Foundation Family of Charities.
