"Sam Bass is one of the people who make NASCAR the great sport it is today," said Mark Dyer, president and CEO of Motorsports Authentics. "Besides being one of the most talented sports artists in the country, he is a pleasure to work with and he truly loves the sport to which he has dedicated his career. We at Motorsports Authentics are thrilled to be developing a much deeper relationship with Sam, and we will be offering some terrific Sam Bass work in the near future."

Motorsports Authentics produces a broad range of motorsports-related die-cast replica collectibles, apparel, souvenirs and other sports-inspired memorabilia. Motorsports Authentics markets and distributes product through a variety of channels including its Authorized Dealer network, the Racing Collectables Club of America (RCCA), QVC, GoRacing.com, Trackside at racing events, direct corporate promotions, mass retail and department stores, specialty dealers and select online retailers like NASCAR.COM.

Bass, referred to as the "Picasso of NASCAR" by Dale Earnhardt Jr., is one of the most accomplished artists in the history of American motorsports as this talented illustrator has captured auto racing's more poignant moments and its engaging personalities on canvas for more than 25 years. In addition to creating paint schemes for a number of top teams including Richard Childress Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Petty Enterprises, Bass has designed transporters, uniforms, helmets, souvenir program covers, trading cards, trophies, collectable die-casts, game boards, sponsor packaging and even guitars.

Working from a gallery and studio in Concord, N.C., Bass has created more than 300 original illustrations. His prints rank among some of the most coveted of all NASCAR memorabilia. Bass currently is running a promotion on SIRIUS' NASCAR Collector (8-9 a.m. ET Saturdays on SIRIUS Channel 128) where one caller wins an original print each week.
