"We are very happy to announce that Terry Cook has joined our team as driver of the No. 06 Toyota Tundra," team owner Jeff Wyler said. "Terry has been a staple in the Craftsman Truck Series over the years and brings a wealth of experience to our team. He will be a true asset to our organization."

Cook made his NCTS debut in 1996 and 2008 will mark his 11th full-time season. Cook holds the record for the most consecutive starts (247) in the NCTS, a streak that began in 1998.

"I am really excited about joining Wyler Racing in 2008," Cook said. "The Wyler's have put together an awesome team that has proven to be one of the best in the Craftsman Truck Series year after year. They have finished in the top 10 in points each year that they've raced in the series full time and I am looking forward to carrying that on in 2008."

Rick Gay, who has been with Wyler Racing since October, will serve as the 06 team's crew chief. The duo worked together when they were both at ppc Racing.

Cook has accumulated six wins, 27 top-five and 94 top-10 finishes. His first victory came at Flemington Speedway in August 1998 and he followed that up with four wins in 2002 and one in 2006. Cook had one top-five and four top-10s in 2007 and finished 14th in points.

Cook, a native of Sandusky, Ohio, began his racing career in 1987 in the Late Model Sportsman Division at Flat Rock (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio) speedways and earned 22 feature wins in two years. He went on to win back-to-back track championships in the Super Late Model Division at Flat Rock Speedway in 1989 and 1990 and followed that up by winning the Super Late Model Division championship at Toledo Speedway in 1992. Cook duplicated that honor at Sandusky Speedway in 1995 before making his move to the NCTS in 1996.
